Client: Wharton-Smith, Inc. Owner: United States Specialty Sports Association (USSSA) Description: We completed new scoreboards for USSSA’s national headquarters in Viera, FL. Encompassing 1.2 million square feet of turf on 85 acres, the complex consists of a new 8,100-seat championship stadium, eight new multi-purpose fields, a new youth field, and two new two-story concession buildings. Each field now has dugout structures, backstops, netting, bull pens, score boards, seating, shade structures, and the latest LED lighting technology.
Client: Hunt Construction Group/Moss & Associates Description: We fabricated the structural steel supports for the exterior metal panels of the stadium’s façade. In 2012, this was Florida's first open-air major league park built exclusively for baseball. Marlins Park is the nation's first retractable roof stadium complete with a modern architectural style, reflecting the local community.
Client: Ivey’s Construction Owner: Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex (Delaware North) Description: We fabricated the structural steel frame for the Space Shuttle Atlantis Exhibit at the KSC Visitor Complex and were honored to be part of this project to ensure Atlantis's legacy continues for years to come. Modern Steel magazine featured it in their August 2013 issue stating, "The experience provides guests with a nearly 360 degree view of Atlantis as only astronauts have seen it before, tilted on its side (and supported by a steel frame, fabricated by Industrial Steel), seeming to float in space …, as if it has just undocked from the International Space Station." If you haven't seen the exhibit yet, you are missing out on a spectacular experience!

This two-story, 46,000 square foot facility houses a professional team auditorium, team meeting rooms, a player dining hall, recreation space, and a 105-bed dormitory for Minor League Players. The Atlanta Braves are now one of four teams in the State of Florida to invest in a Spring Training Academy. We can’t wait to see the talent that comes from these great facilities!

Client: Ivey’s Construction Owner: Canaveral Port Authority Description: Ivey’s Construction was awarded the $78.98 million contract for Cruise Terminal 3, and we were chosen as the structural steel fabricator and erector. The state-of-the-art, 188,000 sq. ft. terminal is two stories and will be the home port for Carnival Cruise Line’s largest cruise ship, the Mardi Gras. With a futuristic design inspired by nearby Kennedy Space Center, CT-3 is part of the Port’s largest single construction project in its 65-year history – a $163 million complex. With a maximum capacity of 6,500 passengers and about 2,000 crew members, the Mardi Gras will be the first North American-based cruise ship powered by liquefied natural gas when she goes into service in fall 2020. The vessel also will be the first cruise ship to feature a roller coaster, which will be called BOLT: Ultimate Sea Coaster.
